Win one of 30, one-night stays in a deluxe king room at Crown Sydney

Complete the trail in one blitz or as mini-trails on multiple visits over the six weeks from 11 August to 24 September 2022. Enter the code located on the plinth of each tail into the Waterfront Whale Tales app to unlock great rewards and if you complete all 30, you’ll be able to enter the draw to win one of thirty overnight stays at Crown Hotel Sydney including breakfast!

How it Works

Download the Waterfront Whale Tales app. As you visit each of the 30 tails along the Waterfront Whale Tales trail, enter the code located on each tail into the Waterfront Whale Tales app. Once you’ve completed all 30 tails, you will be eligible to go into the draw to win an opulent experience at Crown Sydney.

Thirty winners will be drawn randomly by Crown Sydney at 5pm on Saturday 24 September. Your luxurious stay will include one nights’ accommodation in a Deluxe King room at Crown Sydney inclusive of breakfast for Two at Epicurean Restaurant.

The thirty winners will be notified by email or phone and must accept the offer by 5pm on Monday 26 September 2022, otherwise the prize will be redrawn. More *T&C’s apply.

How it Works

Simply take a selfie with your favourite whale tale, tell us why this tale inspires you and post to your socials using the hashtag #sydneywhaletales.

Two posts will be selected to win one of two prizes; one family pass to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium to the first winner and one pass to Sydney Seafood School to the second winner. The more you post, the more entries you have!

Winners will be notified through your social media by direct message.

Add your own splash of colour and creativity to your very own whale tail in the Waterfront Whale Tale colouring-in competition, presented by The Kids’ Cancer Project. There are two categories, under 6s and 7 years+.

Download the free printable Waterfront Whale Tales colouring pack and get creative at home or as you make stops along the trail. Remember to fill in your name, age, include a parent’s or guardian’s email, then drop your completed masterpiece into one of the Whale Tales colouring competition box at either the SEA LIFE Aquarium or the Australian National Maritime Museum’s foyer to go into the draw to win one of three prize packages including family passes to SEA LIFE Aquarium, Madame Tussauds and the Australian National Maritime Museum! The competition will be drawn at 5pm on 23 September 2022 and winners will be notified by email.
